Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for driving revenue growth by proactively identifying and qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, and closing sales within a defined territory or market segment. This role requires a strong understanding of our software solutions, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build relationships with potential clients.
Responsibilities:
- Proactive lead identification & qualification (various channels).
- Researching and understanding client needs.
- Maintaining CRM records of sales activities.
- Conducting engaging product demos/presentations (phone, video, online).
- Developing and delivering compelling proposals/quotes.
- Effective sales pipeline management for maximum conversion.
- Negotiating and closing deals (adhering to pricing/terms).
- Achieving/exceeding sales targets (monthly/quarterly).
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Providing exceptional customer service/support throughout.
- Promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving issues.
- Collaborating with internal teams for client satisfaction.
- Maintaining thorough software/competitive knowledge.
- Staying updated on industry trends/best practices.
- Providing client needs/market insights to product development.
- Tracking and reporting sales activities/performance.
- Analyzing sales data for improvement opportunities.
- Providing regular progress/challenge updates to the sales manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the software industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of SaaS products is a plus.
