IT Test Automation Manager – LCNC Platforms

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Test Automation Manager with expertise in Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) platforms to lead automation initiatives for both the platform and the applications built on it. The role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing test automation frameworks tailored for LCNC environments, ensuring scalable, reliable, and efficient quality assurance. The candidate should have a strong blend of automation engineering expertise, leadership skills, and experience with testing LCNC-based enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and drive the automation strategy specific to LCNC platforms (platform-level validation + application-level testing).
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of test automation engineers specializing in LCNC testing.
  • Establish standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks for test automation in LCNC environments.
  • Define KPIs and success measures for LCNC automation adoption, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Automation for the LCNC Platform

  • Develop and maintain automation suites to validate platform stability, performance, and upgrades (regression testing for the LCNC environment itself).
  • Automate verification of platform capabilities like drag-and-drop components, workflow orchestration, UI rendering, data connectors, and APIs.
  • Ensure platform testing covers multi-device compatibility, security, and integration

Automation for Applications Built on LCNC

  • Create reusable automation frameworks to test applications developed using the LCNC platform.
  • Automate functional, regression, UI/UX, integration, and API testing for LCNC applications.
  • Design automated test strategies for custom extensions, connectors, and plug-ins within LCNC apps.
  • Ensure automated testing supports rapid release cycles and citizen-developer-driven development.
  • The person should be able to build AI agentic automation

Integration & Continuous Testing

  • Embed automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for LCNC application deployments.
  • Ensure compatibility with DevOps processes, including automated builds, deployments, and rollbacks.
  • Leverage AI/ML-driven test automation (where applicable) to optimize test coverage in dynamic LCNC applications.
  • Automating test data generation, build quality dashboards, root cause analysis, incidence reporting, auto escalations, etc.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Partner with LCNC platform owners, citizen developers, product teams, and IT operations to align test automation with delivery cycles.
  • Work closely with business analysts to design test cases that cover business workflows modeled in LCNC platforms.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on automation ROI, coverage, and defect prevention.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
    8–12 years of QA/Testing experience, with at least 3–5 years in test automation leadership.
  • Experience in testing Low-Code/No-Code platforms (e.g., Mendix, OutSystems, Microsoft Power Apps, ServiceNow, Pega, Appian, Salesforce).
  • Hands-on expertise with automation tools suited for LCNC apps:
  • UI Automation: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestComplete,
  • API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI
  • Performance Testing: JMeter, k6
  • LCNC-Specific Tools: Tosca for LCNC, io, Leapwork, or platform-native testing frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (AWS, DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Understanding of Agile/DevOps, shift-left testing, and citizen development governance.
