Japanese Bilingual Program Manager (Delivery/Marketing/Pre Sales)

Level – Sr. Program Manager

Experience Range: 8+ years

Location: Pune
This role is critical for ensuring effective Japanese communication, translation, program management
across different projects and successful marketing / pre-sales activities for Japan.

Key Responsibilities: 
Bilingual Communication: 
• Act as a bridge between project teams and Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
• Facilitate clear and efficient communication to ensure both sides understand project
requirements, goals, and progress.
• Should be ready to travel to Japan for either short term (3-6 months) depending on the client’s
need
Translation: 
• Provide translation support for various project-related documents, emails, and meetings.
• Ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translation between Japanese and English.
Continuous Japanese website updates based on the same.
• Create, modify or enhance the existing GraphX/Contineo training material in Japanese.
Japan Marketing: 
• Collaborate with the marketing team to adapt and create marketing materials for the Japanese
market.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies tailored to the Japanese companies.
• Identify and create business opportunities in industry verticals and thereby promoting sales and
marketing.
• Manage social media campaigns and online advertising targeted at Japanese clients.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis specific to the Japanese market.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events in Japan to represent the company
and build GraphX/Contineo brand awareness.
• Manage the developer portal and partner portal. Ensure that these portals are up-to-date and
provide valuable resources for developers and partners.
Pre-Sales / Training Support: 
• Learn the GraphX/Contineo platform at a deep level.
• Conduct GraphX/Contineo demos for Japanese clients, showcasing the features and benefits.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals for potential clients, highlighting how our
GraphX/Contineo based solutions meet their specific needs.
• Demonstrable experience in dealing with high-level negotiations
• Well versed in estimation techniques and commercial / GraphX/Contineo pricing models
• Managing complete sale cycle from opportunity evaluation stage to successfully closing the
deals.
• Follow up with clients, addressing their inquiries and providing additional information.
• Collaborate with the technical team to provide in-depth product training in Japanese to Japanese
clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of the GraphX/Contineo platform and its benefits.
• Continuously improve or enhance the GraphX/Contineo Japanese website contents.
• Translate and upload project case studies in Japanese.
Program and Project Management: 
• Effectively coordinate activities across various projects, ensuring alignment with project goals,
timelines, and resources.
• Oversee software development projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time,
within scope, and on budget.
• Coordinate resources, track project progress, and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate
verification techniques.
• Maintain strong relationships with Japanese clients and project stakeholders to drive successful
project outcome.
• Generate project reports, communicate progress and milestones to both Japanese clients and
project teams.
• Manage the GraphX/Contineo Support Team, ensuring efficient support for customers.
Requirement Gathering: 
• Travel to Japan for 3-4 months to work closely with our Japanese counterparts in gathering
project requirements.
• Understand client’s business needs and help the technical team to develop a tailored solution.
• Translate and communicate the requirements effectively to the offshore development team.
Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Primary Skills: 
• Excellent client-facing skills, negotiation skills, presentation skills, Leadership Skills
• Experience in managing projects for the Japanese Clients is a MUST
• Strong proficiency in both Japanese (N2 Level or Equivalent) and English, with excellent written
and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Proven experience in software development, pre-sales support, program and project
management esp. with Japanese Clients.
• Strong time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills
• Knowledge of Japanese business culture and practices.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
