Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Presales/Presales Manager to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for leading the presales efforts, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with the sales team to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

Lead and Manage Presales Activities:  

  • Develop and execute comprehensive presales strategies to support sales objectives.
  • Manage a team of presales engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and training.
  • Oversee the qualification of leads and opportunities, ensuring alignment with product capabilities

Technical Expertise and Solution Design:  

  • Provide in-depth product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospects and clients.
  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals, RFPs/RFIs responses, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Design customized solutions that address client needs and business challenges.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the company’s products and services.

Sales Collaboration and Support:  

  • Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop winning strategies.
  • Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to contract closure.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and provide insights to the sales team.
  • Participate in sales meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Relationship Management:  

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Gather and analyze client feedback to improve product offerings and presales processes.

Process Improvement and Reporting:  

  • Develop and implement best practices for presales activities.
  • Track and report on key presales metrics, providing insights to management.
  • Continuously improve presales processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with product management teams to provide feedback on market needs and required product changes.

Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in presales, preferably in the IT software product industry.    
    • Proven track record of success in leading presales teams and driving revenue growth.
    • Strong technical knowledge of cloud platforms, low code no code platform, databases, APIs, and cybersecurity solutions.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Experience with CRM software.
    • Ability to travel as needed. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in [mention specific industry/domain, e.g., SaaS, enterprise software, cloud computing].
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of the Software Product.
